Hello, I’m Dr. Paul Loverme and I take this opportunity to welcome you to my website and my philosophy and approach to plastic surgery. As a third generation physician and a second generation plastic surgeon, I bring a warm and personal feeling to my practice combined with high tech, safe, 21st century care. I’m committed to the highest standards of patient care and patient safety. I’m board-certified in plastic surgery and have been in practice since 1985. I’m a spokesperson for the American Society of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation. I’ve served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Mountainside Hospital and as President of the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgery and the New Jersey chapter of the American College of Surgeons as well as the Essex County Medical Society.
As an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, I’ve been associated with training and teaching of plastic surgeons since 1985. It has been a distinct honor for me to be named as a top doctor by the Castle Connolly Guide as well as New Jersey Monthly, New York Magazine, New Jersey Life, and the American Council of Surgeons.
One of the things that sets my practice apart is the belief that an educated person makes a much better patient. Enhancing one’s appearance is a journey, and cosmetic surgery may be at the beginning of that journey or anywhere along the route but it’s never an isolated event. Surgery to create a more youthful and improved appearance must be integrated into a complete lifestyle and wellness program. In my center I’ve incorporated radiant skincare, specializing in results-oriented procedures and prescription and medical grade products. I have a board-certified intern specializing in age management medicine available to my patients. I pride myself in producing natural-looking results in a safe and comfortable atmosphere. My center maintains a fully accredited surgery facility and recovery area built and equipped to hospital standards. My commitment and that of my staff is to my patients. We listen to their needs, respond to their concerns, and are always available.
