Endotine Midface™ System Simplifies & Enhances Facelift
Endotine Midface System at The LoVerme Center for Plastic Surgery. When Endotine Midface™ was made available in early 2004 Dr. Loverme, of The LoVerme Center immediately recognized the benefit this product had to his facelift patients. Endotine Midface™ significantly improves facelift procedures enabling plastic surgeons to work more efficiently, and ultimately to provide even higher quality results.
Modern facelift procedures make use of soft tissue fixation devices to hold the adjustment performed as the body heals. The Endotine Midface™ product improves soft tissue fixation devices on two accounts. First, and most significantly, Endotine Midface™ is a bio-absorbable implant, meaning that after it is carefully positioned it will dissolve into the body over a period of 6 to 12 months. Second, it improves upon other designs by using multiple points of fixation to suspend soft tissue, effectively distributing tension over a wider area and maximizing fixation strength.
Nearly 400,000 facelift procedures are performed annually throughout the world, a majority of which, are between the ages of 35 and 50. Many of these involve a midface lift. The Endotine Midface™ is especially helpful in facilitating the minor facial adjustments that this age range normally requires.
