Dr. LoVerme Elected to AAAASF Board of Directors
It is our pleasure to announce that Dr. Paul LoVerme, our board certified plastic surgeon, has been elected to the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities, Inc. (AAAASF) Board of Directors! Established in 1980, AAAASF set out to not only improve but also standardize the quality of patient safety and care in independent surgical facilities not affiliated with hospitals. Today, the caliber of care set by the organization’s peer review and inspection-based accreditation process is considered the “gold standard” for all ambulatory surgical facilities in the United States, as well as those in various other countries around the world.
Dr. LoVerme’s term as a board member will span two years, during which time he will work on marketing and website development for AAAASF, as well as credentialing and accreditation while helping to further the association’s cause of patient safety. Having spent the last term as an auditor for AAAASF, he is both honored and grateful to be recognized for the work and leadership he has already put into the organization, and he looks forward to his role in continuing its storied success.
