Philosophy
The word “plastic” is derived from a Greek word meaning to “mold” or “form.” Today, plastic surgery has evolved as an unparalleled medical specialty – the mastery of which relies heavily on the level of technical skill, artistic ability, and scientific knowledge of the plastic surgeon you choose.
The specialty incorporates both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, and requires more training than most other surgical specialties. Many of the techniques used in cosmetic surgery are derived from reconstructive procedures. Today Dr. LoVerme continues to perform both reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery, with a strong emphasis on aesthetic plastic surgery. Reconstructive surgery restores areas that are injured, deformed or removed because of cancer or disease.
Cosmetic surgery can do as much for your self-image as for your appearance. Refinements from aesthetic surgery often produce positive changes in self perception and attitude that can be perceived and appreciated by you, your family and friends.
The decision to change your appearance requires realistic expectations as well as a thorough knowledge of the entire process. It is our goal to help you achieve both.
Together we will discuss all aspects of your procedure. Using our state-of-the-art VECTRA® 3D computer imaging system, you will “preview” or visualize the results of your procedure prior to your surgery. This provides an ideal forum for the best communication between doctor and patient – bringing us that much closer to reaching your goals.
And, special accommodations are available for our out-of-town patients.
We encourage questions during your consultation and understand that you need to take whatever time is necessary for you to make your decision. Remember, it’s the time you spend with your plastic surgeon before the operation that really counts.
Dr LoVerme goals are simply stated, but he and his staff work hard to make them a reality:
To make every outcome positive
Every result expected
And every experience pleasurable and confortable
We’d like you to regard your plastic surgery as a gift to yourself – a gift you deserve!
