How Does PermaLip™ Work?
PermaLip™ is an implant made of a soft solid silicone which gives a natural look and feel without the worry of leaking or rupturing. The implant is tapered on each side to follow the natural contour of the lips which results in a more natural appearance that does not look “overly done”.
What Does the Procedure Involve?
Although patients experience dramatic results, PermaLip™ Lip Enhancement is a simple, safe procedure to perform. Dr. LoVerme will administer local anesthetic to your mouth and lips so you will not experience any discomfort. The implants are placed through tiny incision in the corners of the mouth and centered into place. The procedure is usually completed in about an hour and you will be able to resume normal activity the next day.
