Plastic Surgeon in New Jersey Offering Ultherapy for Skin Tightening

At The LoVerme Center for plastic surgery in New Jersey, Dr. Paul LoVerme is announcing that he will now be offering Ultherapy®, a non-invasive skin tightening procedure, for patients who are looking to reduce signs of aging and wrinkles. Dr. LoVerme says the new procedure utilizes ultrasound technology to offer patients a number of benefits including a more toned, youthful appearance.

New Jersey plastic surgeon Dr. Paul LoVerme is now providing the advanced ultrasound therapy for skin tightening and wrinkle reduction called Ultherapy®. Developed by Ulthera, Inc., the procedure is a non-invasive, non-surgical procedure for treating wrinkles and loose skin. Dr. LoVerme says he is excited about the addition of Ulthera® to his repertoire of anti-aging products because of its effective results and benefits to his patients’ skin and complexion. He says that while many of the procedure’s effects are exhibited on the surface, Ultherapy® is most effective in the restoration of collagen deep within to help maintain youth and vibrancy in one’s skin tone.

Using acoustic sound waves to gently heat and lift tissue, Ultherapy® is typically a 45 to 90 minute procedure that does not involve needles or incisions. Dr. LoVerme says that while some patients can enjoy initial results from the procedure, most results take effect after two or three months, as the skin’s collagen is restored and supplemented. While he says there is no substitute for the results attainable with a surgical procedure, Dr. LoVerme says patients looking to enhance their appearance through a more subtle treatment can experience the benefits of Ulthera in New Jersey without the recovery time and incisions required by procedures such as a facelift or brow lift. Ulthera® is the only device cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for skin lifting. “I’ve been impressed with the ability of Ulthera® to tighten and lift skin on the face.”

About Paul J. LoVerme, MD

Dr. Paul LoVerme received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Boston University and his medical degree from UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School, where he also trained during a general surgery residency. He completed his plastic surgery residency at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. Dr. LoVerme has dual board certifications in Surgery and Plastic Surgery as well as a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery, although he has placed a strong emphasis on aesthetic procedures such as breast augmentation. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in addition to being the President Elect of the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. Through numerous international trips to Mexico, Kenya, El Salvador, and Ecuador as Trip Chief with Healing the Children/Midlantic, Dr. LoVerme has also provided reconstructive surgery to hundreds of needy children in impoverished areas.
